Becoming a member of the TRARC has many benefits. Please navigate through this website to see some of our activities in which we participate throughout the calendar year. Each TRARC member has his/her own scope of interest in the hobby. From participating in working dx stations from all over the world, various modes from APRS to CW, from D-STAR to SSB, we get involved. Besides our monthly meetings, we also conduct a hamfest (amateur radio themed flea market) in April of each year, weekly radio nets (Mondays on 146.73 MHz, Wednesday evenings at 830 p.m. on 147.12/442.250 MHz), Thursdays at 8 p.m. on 28.450 MHz USB (currently suspended), participate in the annual ARRL Field Day operating event, volunteer examiner exams sessions are conduced at four (4) times per year-and at our hamfest in April, and occasionally conduct amateur radio classes. We also have FM voice repeaters operating on 147.12 MHz and 442.250 MHz. We also have several family oriented activities such as Family Picnic in August and Christmas Party in December of each year.
